"I’ve Built the Practice. Led the Teams. Created the Systems. Now I Help Other Behavioral Health Leaders Do the Same." -Danielle W. Turner, LCSW Behavioral Health Strategist | Clinical Leadership Advisor

Hello
From Clinician to CEO
For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my career to behavioral health—as a clinician, supervisor, clinical program director, leader, practice owner, and CEO. Throughout that journey, I've learned that being an excellent clinician and building an excellent business require two very different skill sets.
When I became a practice owner, I had to learn how to think beyond the therapy room. I had to understand operations, hiring, leadership, compliance, finances, marketing, systems, team development, and what it truly takes to build a business that can grow beyond one person.
As the Founder and CEO of Inner You Clinical Services, I have built and led a multi-clinician behavioral health practice and developed the systems necessary to support its continued growth. I've experienced firsthand the decisions, challenges, growing pains, and leadership transitions that come with moving from clinician to business owner—and eventually from business owner to CEO.
That experience is at the heart of my consulting work today. I help clinicians and behavioral health leaders build the business infrastructure behind excellent clinical care. Whether you're preparing to open your first practice, growing beyond solo practice, trying to create a business that doesn't require your involvement in everything, or leading an organization through growth and transformation, I bring both clinical understanding and business strategy to the table.
Why I Consult
I know what it's like to have the clinical expertise but still have questions about the business.
I also know how easy it is for practice owners to build businesses that become dependent on them. You're seeing clients, managing employees, answering questions, solving problems, reviewing documentation, making financial decisions, marketing the practice, and trying to determine what comes next.
Eventually, something has to change. I began consulting because I want other clinicians and behavioral health leaders to benefit from the lessons, systems, strategies, and experience I've gained throughout my career—without having to learn everything the hard way like I did.
My goal isn't simply to help you grow a bigger business. I want to help you build a better business—one with strong systems, healthy finances, effective leadership, excellent clinical care, and enough structure that growth doesn't require sacrificing your well-being. Because success shouldn't mean creating another job you can't step away from.

My Philosophy
Clinical Excellence and Business Excellence Should Coexist.
I don't believe behavioral health professionals should have to choose between providing exceptional care, building a profitable business, and protecting their own quality of life. You can do all three.
A successful practice should be clinically sound, financially healthy, operationally efficient, and sustainable for the people leading it. Revenue matters—but revenue alone does not create a successful organization. Strong leadership, effective systems, healthy workplace culture, quality clinical care, and intentional growth matter too.
My approach to consulting looks at the whole business. Because the goal isn't simply to build a business that makes more money. The goal is to build a business that works—for your clients, your team, and for you.
Professional Background
Danielle W. Turner, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, behavioral health executive, entrepreneur, clinical supervisor, author, and consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health and behavioral healthcare field.
She is the Founder and CEO of Inner You Clinical Services, a Connecticut-based behavioral health practice she founded in 2018. Under her leadership, Inner You has grown into a multi-clinician practice providing culturally responsive mental health and wellness services. As CEO, Danielle has been directly involved in the development and oversight of the systems that make a behavioral health organization work—from clinical operations and compliance to hiring, onboarding, supervision, team development, policies and procedures, program development, marketing, financial performance, and strategic growth.
Danielle's leadership experience extends beyond private practice. Throughout her career, she has held clinical and program leadership roles within behavioral healthcare, providing supervision and oversight to clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, supporting quality improvement initiatives, developing programs, strengthening clinical practices, and helping teams navigate the complex intersection of client care, regulatory requirements, organizational expectations, and workforce needs.
She earned her Master of Social Work from Springfield College and has extensive experience providing clinical supervision and working with individuals, couples, groups, clinicians, and behavioral health professionals. Her clinical foundation includes cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed approaches, which continue to influence the way she thinks about leadership, organizational culture, client experience, and sustainable business growth.
In addition to her behavioral health leadership, Danielle is an author, speaker, women's wellness and menopause advocate, and Founder of The Luxe Reset Collective™, an initiative focused on creating intentional wellness, education, coaching, and restorative experiences for women navigating midlife and menopause.
Today, Danielle brings these experiences together through her consulting work, partnering with therapists, group practice owners, executives, and behavioral health organizations at different stages of development. Her work spans private practice startup and growth, organizational systems, clinical operations, leadership development, program design, strategic planning, practice profitability, and sustainable growth.
Her perspective is grounded in more than knowing what organizations should do. It comes from years of actually doing the work—leading people, making difficult decisions, solving operational problems, building systems, managing growth, and learning what it takes to move from clinician to business owner to CEO.
